Few things to check before calling technical support/after sales service

The following steps can help you to build the minimum setup and provide us useful information, solve your problem quickly, so please follow each step exactly the same as described,

Step 1: Turn on power, LED on receiver is lit up or not?  if Yes, go to Step 2,  if not, check battery, power connector, switch port,

Step 2: LED on receiver is flashing or stay solid, if solid, go to Step 3, if flashing, refer to radio instruction manual  to bind receiver and transmitter,

Step 3: Are you using S.Bus version TK board, if yes, got to Step 4, if no, connect receiver cable as instructed in PWM mode control scheme and go to Step 7

Step 4: Do you know how to setup radio transmitter to S.Bus mode? if Yes, go to Step 5, if on, refer to S.Bus setup section on each product page,

Step 5: Did you setup radio transmitter to S.Bus mode properly? if yes go to Step 6. if no, refer to S.Bus setup section on each product page and set up radio transmitter to S.Bus mode,

Step 6: Did you connect CH1 or CN14( TK80S series ) of TK board to S.Bus port on receiver as the following picture? if yes, go to Step 7, if no, connect it as the following picture.

S.Bus port on receiver

CN14 on TK80, make sure receiver cable is plugged  exactly the same as the picture

Step 7: Turn off radio transmitter and then turn on again, on transmitter home screen, do you see a question mark in RX battery icon or not as the picture below?  if yes, binding is not correct, refer to radio instruction manual to bind  again, if no, go to next step.

Step 8: connect speaker, move turret rotation stick, do you hear turret rotation sound from speaker? if yes, go to next step, if not, go to Sound Problem 1

Step 9:Assign transmitter VrB to CH10, Connect a servo to J2 RealRecoil Servo  Port as shown below, send "Fire Cannon" command from radio transmitter, do you see servo arm move to one end and return to original position? if Yes, go to next step, if no, go to IR1

Step 10:(this is not necessary for TK22 series) send "Natural Gear Shift In/Out" command once from transmitter, do you hear gear shift sound from speaker? if yes, go to next step, if not, check SwB and SwC assignment in control scheme and call after sales service and tell us that you stopped at step 10.

Step 11: Connect track motor to CN6 and CN7, move throttle stick, could track motor runs?  if yes, congratulations, you've finished the minimum setup, if no, send "Natural Gear Shift In/Out" once again, and then move throttle stick again, if  track motor still no runs, call after sales service and tell us that you stopped at Step 11.

Sound Problem 1: did  you connect volume control board to CN4 port? if yes, go to next step, if no, connect a volume control or a 10K VR to CN4 as shown below and set volume to middle, or just cross Pin 1 and Pin 3 together to have max. volume, and go to ext step

CN4.1. Volume Signal Output ( Wiper pin of VR )

CN4.2. Battery -( 1 outside pin of VR )

CN4.3. Volume Signal Input ( 1 outside pin of VR )

Sound Problem 2: move turret rotation stick, do you hear turret rotation sound from speaker? if yes, go to Step 9  if no, go to next step.

IR1: connect IR configuration line/or Battle unit to CN2, press number "2" key on IR configuration remote, do you hear explosion sound form speaker? if yes, go to next step, if no, call after sales service and tell us that you stopped at IR1 step

Receiver cable 1: check connectivity of white wire of receiver wire

- Make sure white wire position is exactly the same as the picture below,

- Pull white wire of receive cable, Can it be pulled up easily? if yes, plug it firmly, if not , call after sales service, take a picture as the picture below and send to us.

Servo recoil does not move

The following steps help to identify the problem of servo recoil port J2,

Step 1: turn power on, remove servo from J2 port, measure the voltage between pin3( Signal  ) and pin 1( Battery - ), if 0.2xx V, go to next step, if not, go to Reset 1

Step 2: send fire cannon command from transmitter, does voltage varying after cannon sound? if yes, go to next step, if not, go to Reset 1

Step 3: measure the voltage between pin2( +5V ) and pin 1( Battery - ), if 5V, go to next step, if not, power regulator might damaged, call after sales service and send us a picture the show the voltage on your board.

Step 4: check the contact between servo motor cable connector and J2, make sure no imperfect contact between them, if problem persist, call after sales service and tell us that you stopped at step 4

Reset 1: Use "Use saved settings(1)" or "Use saved settings(2)" function listed in Tank Personalization section on each product webpage to Use Factory Default Setting and then turn power off and on, go to Step 1 and test again, if problem persist, call after sales service and tell us that you stopped at step 4
